What is the collapsible content section? #
This section is typically used for FAQs, enabling customers to see answers to common queries at a glance. Although it could be used to convey any content which it would be preferable to reveal on click rather than being immediately visible.
A selection of collapsible items, categories and buttons can be used to provide additional support and guidance. It can be a time saver and reduce the amount of post purchase support that customers may require.
How to set up the collapsible content section #
Steps
- Open the Theme Editor an add the Collapsible content section.
- There are three types of blocks available:
- Category: The main title of the section. For example ‘Shipping’
- Collapsible item: More information under the category that could include an Icon, Heading and Content, including metafields. For example ‘What countries do you ship to?’
- Button: This can be inserted to direct customers to any area of your store.
- Select Add block or choose one of the existing blocks available upon install.
- In the STYLE setting a Color scheme can be selected
