What are breadcrumbs? #
Breadcrumbs show customers their exact location in a store and the route that they used to get there. They sit directly underneath the header and can be shown on a Product page, Collection page, Collection list page, Blogs and Articles. They provide search engines with better context for the page, which may assist them in ranking that page more appropriately. Breadcrumbs could also help conversions by making other products/offerings more easily discoverable to customers.
How to set up breadcrumbs #
Steps
- Open the Theme Editor and click on Theme Settings > Design > Breadcrumbs.
- Breadcrumbs can be shown on five templates by selecting them from the list below.
- To show no breadcrumbs, ensure that all boxes are unticked.
